Qiuzziz is a game that helps users expand their vocabulary and increase language skills. It also offers teachers materials and resources to make learning fun.
The game includes different types of questions. These include multiple-choice questions, true or false questions, and fill in the blanks. It also features a scoreboard that allows players to compare their scores with others.
Gameplay
Home Improvement Qiuzziz is a side-scrolling action/platforming game that puts players in the shoes of The Toolman himself as he attempts to reach the end of each level using power tools to kill enemies and open up new areas. Throughout the game players will be required to complete 20 levels while fighting off unique and annoying enemies.
The gameplay in Home Improvement is a bit on the monotonous side with not much of a variation from one stage to the next. This may be due to the fact that the game is based off of the TV show and therefore has limited resources. However, the lack of variety can also be attributed to poor design in general with the health system being especially punishing and the levels themselves being uninspired.
In terms of difficulty the game is brutally unfair and will have even hardcore masochists cursing its name while attempting to progress through the campaign. The so-called “story” is as thin as its instruction manual and offers no explanation as to what the player is supposed to do except that “real men don’t need instructions!”.
Graphics
Qiuzziz is a powerful online learning tool that allows students to interact with their schoolwork in a fun way. It offers a variety of question types, including multiple choice, true and false, fill in the blanks, and more. Students can create their own tests or take one that someone else has made.
The graphics in Home Improvement are a blend of vibrant redundancy and are pretty standard for this type of game. However, the lack of enemy and level design variation from level to level causes player boredom to set in quite quickly. The audio is also rather forgettable and sounds like it was recorded through a potato. This combination of poor gameplay and mediocre graphics make Home Improvement a true contender for the proverbial toilet of gaming inferiority.
Story
Qiuzziz is an excellent gamification platform that can be used by both students and teachers. It has a simple interface, a lot of different question types, and easy-to-use analytics. It also has tools that help people figure out where they are having trouble.
The story in Home Improvement is a little strange. It centers around Tim “The Toolman” Taylor getting awarded with a new line of power tools, however it turns out that someone else has already stolen them. The game then tasks the player with finding 6 crates scattered across a variety of levels that must be found within a time limit before moving on. The graphics are colorful and well-designed, but the lack of variation from level to level can cause eye fatigue quickly.
